What we offer

Our principal developer, Steve Cinquegrana, has nearly 20 years' experience using, programming and optimizing The Raiser's Edge. He is fully conversant with its back-end database, the RE API, and macro and plug-in development. Protégé’s email campaign management application, Springbaud, is built on this knowledge.

He also has years of experience with The Education Edge and The Financial Edge. Our data synchronization application, CustomSync, which works with Learning Managements Systems such as Finalsite, is similarly founded on this experience.

And as a Blackbaud Cloud Technology Partner, we are now able to provide support for Raiser's Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT and all SKY-enabled next-generation Blackbaud products. Further, we can augment your systems with API-capable applications without the need to purchase the Blackbaud API modules.

Steve also has a solid understanding of not-for-profit organizations and tertiary education providers, having worked predominately with Oxfam Australia and Monash University over the last 20 years.

Though based in Querétaro (central México), distance hasn’t proved an impediment to great service; Protégé has customers in Australia, the US, México, the UK, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand. A decent internet connection is all that is required for us to work with you as if we were right there in your office. (Though we won't be taking up valuable desk space or drinking your coffee.)

Skills

• Expert knowledge of Blackbaud's SKY API. And we have developed a proprietary code library and software development kit (SDK) called SKYLib•NET which we can deploy to drastically reduce development time.
• Extensive knowledge of every aspect of Blackbaud's The Raiser's Edge including macro development, plug-ins, the RE API, and the SQL back-end.
• In-depth knowledge of Blackbaud's The Education Edge and The Financial Edge including macro development, plug-ins, the API, and the SQL back-end.
• Top-level VB.NET, VB6 and VBA application development able to integrate applications with Blackbaud products such as The Raiser's Edge and The Education/Financial Edge.
• Conversant in ASP.NET, Windows Services, web production (HTML, PHP, Javascript, CSS, etc).
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Rates

While we can provide services at hourly rates starting at USD90/hour, we prefer to quote on a per-job/project basis. This gives you visibility of your costs and provides a framework on which to best define your project's budget.

Our rates are also dependent on the complexity of the work and the expertise required. This means we can provide a range of skills to you without charging you top-dollar for everything we do.

We can also provide you with a fixed-price quotation if required, giving your organization complete budgetary transparency; the choice is always yours.

Terms

• Direct deposit to either our Australian or Mexican bank account.
• Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express in most major currencies).
• PayPal (in most major currencies).
• Payment in full within 14 days of completion of contract. Lengthy or large contracts may require a deposit.
